Timbaland Attends To Hip Hop Honors : Missy Elliott Tribute

Eve, Nelly Furtado, Trina, Remy Ma and Lil’ Mo opened up tonight’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens show! The ladies set the show off with an ovation-worthy tribute to Missy Elliott, and their medley of her greatest hits was a performance for the books.

The tribute medley started off with “Work It,” performed by Remy Ma. Next up was Nelly Furtado on “Get Ur Freak On,” “Hot Boyz,” performed by Eve and Lil’ Mo, “One Minute Man,” performed by Trina, “Lose Control” and Missy’s latest banger, “WTF,” performed by Remy Ma.

Missy Elliott is getting her own special tribute, which Pharrell, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Remy Ma, Trina, Eve, Tweet, Monica,Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, Raven Symone and Fantasia will all play a part in. So casual. Get ready!

Missy Elliott has seen an enormous amount of success over the past three decades. She’s won five Grammys, sold over 30 million albums worldwide and has become the only female rapper to have had all of her studio albums RIAA platinum-certified or better. We can’t wait to watch some of today’s biggest artists pay tribute to Missy’s legendary career at All Hail the Queens. Can you?

Sebastian revealed via his Twitter that the song called, “Last Nite (Interlude)” will be a special tribute and dedication to Timbaland’s close friends, Aaliyah & Static Major,
