Danja revisits the experience of working on the FutureSex/LoveSounds album and describes how he was given free rein to build the foundations of this particular track. YNW Melly Feat. Chief Keef - Dope (Freestyle)

“Dope” is an unreleased track from YNW Melly featuring Chief Keef. The track leaked in its entirety on February 12, 2021, it is unclear if the track will ever make an official release.

This took place during a Timbaland studio session with the likes of fellow artists Kanye West, Chief Keef, and King Von. Based off the sound of the track, it was just a freestyle that hasn’t been fully put together.

Brandy and Timbaland first started working together on the recording of Norwood’s album Afrodisiac in 2003. The album was released the following year to rave reviews.

Brandy and Timbaland would later work together again in 2008 for her Human album. Cuts including “Drum Life” did not make the final tracklist. They would work together on tracks between 2009 and 2011. These tracks contained both solos and features. He also helped produce music under Brandy’s alter ego Bran’Nu.
